Introduction to the "Qin and Han Dynasties, Prosperous Chang'an - Exhibition of Newly Unearthed Cultural Relics from Xi'an"
Xi'an is located in the central Guanzhong Plain. Since the Western Zhou Dynasty, including the Qin and Han dynasties, 13 dynasties have established their capitals here. Ancient names include Chang'an and Haojing. It boasts extremely rich historical and cultural resources.
This exhibition hall brings together exquisite artifacts from the Qin and Han dynasties unearthed in the Xi'an region in recent years. These artifacts come from more than 20 excavation sites and comprise over 150 exhibits. The exhibits primarily consist of artifacts unearthed from commoner graves, along with a small number of burial objects from marquises and emperors. This exhibition allows us to glimpse the simple and honest nature of the Qin Dynasty, the vibrant daily life of the Han Dynasty, and the political, economic, and cultural characteristics of that era. It leads viewers to look back at the prosperity, wealth, and vitality of the Chang'an region during the Qin and Han dynasties from a broader perspective.
