Wuxi Wudi Helu City Ruins Museum 2022 Work Summary

This year, the Helv City Ruins Museum has continued to thoroughly implement the Party Central Committee's instructions on the "dynamic zero-clearing" of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, strictly implementing various internal epidemic prevention and control measures. Based on this, around the spirit of "grasping development while wearing masks", combined withmeasures to promote high-quality integration of culture and tourism, we have vigorously coordinated the advancement of various key annual tasks of the museum and achieved certain results. The following is a summary of the Helv City Ruins Museum's work for the whole year and plans for next yearas follows:

I. Overview of the Year's Work

(1) Coordinated Advancement of Key Tasks

1.Xiaonanwan Township Creation Integrated Project. This project was selected as a2022"year Jiangsu Provincial Key Cultural and Tourism Industry Project". In the future, efforts will be made to seek the integrated development of the township creation body and Helv Wu culture, explore innovative operation models, and create a demonstration project for the integrated development of regional "culture, agriculture, and tourism."In the early part of this year, the signing of asset lease agreements for projects such as the Xiaoda Tea Ceremony project was completed, and operations were officially launched. Currently, the construction land for this project has obtained a construction permit,A1the plot has been fully launched, and thus the preliminary assistance work of the Helv City Administration has been completed.

2.Ancient Xuhu Scenic Spot Environmental Improvement Project. In order to reshape the cultural brand image of Ancient Xuhu and improve the ecological environment of the Helv City Ruins Park, the Administration actively cooperated in the implementation of this project.In the early part of this year, assistance was provided in completing the project Bidding procedures and clearing and surveying, and construction began in5month. Currently, the cast-in-place roof of the management building has been completed, and the wall construction has been completed85%amount of work. It is planned to complete the wall construction and roofing of the project management building this year.

3.Xushanwan Baicaoyuan RV Camp Project.This project will establish a "farm + base" model to promote the integrated development of local industries and strive to create a new Brand for modern agricultural tourism cities.In the early part of this year, the exploration of the constructible land plot for this project was completed, and a land lease intention agreement was signed with the customer. Currently, it has beentransferred to the Resort's Investment Promotion and Tourism Bureau.

4.Helv City Ruins7Longshan Stone Chamber Tumulus Protection and Repair Project.In order to fully display the rich cultural connotations and precious value of the Longshan ruins in Helv City,7archaeological exploration, protection and repair, and the construction of a sightseeing trail environment improvement were carried out for the stone chamber tumulus.In the early part of this year, national special funds and supporting funds from the resort area were coordinated and implemented, and a budget list was compiled. Currently, this project has completed the Bidding procedures, and it is planned to sign the construction contract and start construction this year.

5.Longshan Nanwan Trail Construction Project. In order to deeply integrate the "Helv City - Xiaonanwan" cultural and tourism development, organically connect the three-dimensional sightseeing routes, and deepen the cultural tourism experience for tourists, we proactively sought funding to build this project. In the early part of this year, the project Bidding procedures, project approval, budget review, scheme demonstration, and commencement were completed. Currently, the project has completed80%of the total project. It is planned to complete the overall construction this year.

6.East China Base Comprehensive Laboratory Upgrading and Transformation Project.In order to better meet the main needs of future archaeological research and development, the Wuxi Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology took the lead in investing300yuan in the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Archaeology's East China Base to implement the upgrading and transformation project of the archaeological laboratory and air compressor room.Currently, the transformation of the internal comprehensive laboratory, the Yixing kiln site display area of the base, and the exploration and origin scientific research warehouse (second-generation archaeological container) have been completed.

7.Helv City Ruins East Xiaocheng National Security and Defense Project.In order to meet the national standards for the first-level protection engineering design of cultural relics systems for the overall safety protection of the Helv Ancient City Ruins (East Xiaocheng), the Administration applied for special funds for East Xiaocheng national security and defense this year,and completed the modification and expert review of the project's security design text in the early stages. Currently,according to the expert review opinions organized by the Provincial Bureau, the plan has been revised twice and submitted to the Provincial Bureau for review. It is planned to conduct a budget review after the review is passed this year.

8.High-Quality Cultural Exhibition Project.In order to update and improve the museum's exhibition planning, enrich cultural education experiences, and strengthen platform exchange and cooperation, the museum planned4high-quality exhibitions this year:《Summer Rain Spring Breeze - Helv City Ruins MuseumCollection of Paintings and Calligraphy Exhibition》,《Pebbles and Refining Clay - Recently Unearthed Neolithic Relics Exhibition in Wuxi》,《Exhibition of Hegemons at the End of the Spring and Autumn Period》, and《Exhibition of Relics Unearthed from the Tomb of Yan Shiwei and his Wife, Tai Prefecture Sima during the Tang Dynasty》. Currently, except for the《Exhibition of Relics Unearthed from the Tomb of Yan Shiwei and his Wife, Tai Prefecture Sima during the Tang Dynasty》,3other exhibitions were completed in the early part of this year. The《Exhibition of Relics Unearthed from the Tomb of Yan Shiwei and his Wife》has also signed a cooperation exhibition contract with the Xi'an Institute of Archaeology and has been submitted for approval. It is planned to complete the exhibition design, production, and relic transportation work this year.

9.Museum Relic Preventive Protection Project. This project coordinated and implemented198yuan in project special funds in the early part of this year. Currently, this project has Entered the final stages of construction and handover. It is planned to be officially completed and put into use this year.

10."Starfire Traces Red Cultural Relics" Brand Party Building Work.The Helv City Party branch, taking the opportunity of Helv City's inclusion in the《Special Plan for the Protection and Utilization of Major Relics during the 14th Five-Year Plan》, emphasized cultural integration,strengthened Party building leadership, focused on the spiritual connotation of Wu culture, from building the Longshan stone wall and clean path to establishing the Longshan Study House immersive classroom, from creating a red cultural relics Party building matrix to developing interactive theaters of cultural relics stories, fully demonstrating the four cultural themes of "integrity, culture, pragmatism, and innovation"and three-dimensionally creating the "Starfire Traces Red Cultural Relics" Party building Brand.

1.Safeguarding the red line of epidemic prevention and control and ensuring the stable operation of overall work.This year, under the unified leadership of the resort administration, the management office has actively fulfilled its duties, strictly adhered to the bottom line of epidemic prevention and control, and made every effort to ensure the stable operation of the management office. 2.Strengthening cooperation and exploration with the alliance platform to expand archaeological and cultural exploration and innovation.Continuously focusing on the Helu City Cultural Relics Alliance cooperation platform, deepening exploration and cooperation with the Xi'an Institute of Archaeology, jointly planning the Helu City Museum2022annual key new exhibition "Exhibition of Relics Unearthed from the Tomb of Yan Shiwei Couple of the Tang Dynasty". Currently, the exhibition has officially signed a contract and entered the exhibition design stage, further pushing the fine cultural exhibition to innovation; taking the Helu City station of the Wuxi Cultural Heritage Protection and Archaeological Research Institute as an opportunity, planning cooperation in advance, jointly upgrading the East China Base Archaeological Laboratory. Currently, the laboratory has been upgraded, and the internal experimental cabin has become a highlight in the industry in East China. Among them, Xiang XueLong, Chairman of the Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Li QiuFeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Wuxi Municipal Committee and Minister of Propaganda, respectively led teams on9month26day,10month19day to carry out field research and investigation at the Helu City East China Base, and put forward important guidance and practical suggestions on the protection and utilization of the Helu City major relic site. In addition, the Helu City Management Office is still actively seeking funding from higher authorities for planned projects. This year, it has implemented cultural relicpreventive protection project special funds of approximately198ten thousand yuan, and applied for special funds for the repair of the Longshan stone chamber and earth mound of approximately550ten thousand yuan, construction funds for the Longshan trail of approximately90ten thousand yuan, andspecial funds for digital protection of cultural relics of approximately99ten thousand yuan.。

3.Giving full play to the effectiveness of existing work systems and implementing performance goals to promote closure.First, the effectiveness of the deliberation and supervision system is evident. II. Current Difficulties and Problems

Since the upgrading and transformation project of the East China Base Comprehensive Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Institute of Archaeology has been completed, it will be equipped with multiple experimental devices for archaeological experiments in the future. The existing power capacity cannot meet the normal operation in the future, and it is necessary to coordinate and apply for increasing the existing power capacity to200kwto300kw。

III. Work Ideas and Measures in the Next Stage

Next, we will continue to uphold"relic site protection and utilization, ecological environment construction and characteristic cultural development"three major tenets, with"effective protection, reasonable utilization, and diversified development"as the principle, striving to build a center for the display, research, experience and inheritance of Wu culture, further enhancing the brand of the birthplace of Wu culture, and improving its comprehensive competitiveness and core influence.

First, cultural and tourism integration, promoting project improvement.In line with the requirements of cultural and tourism development, and focusing on key annual projects, we will accelerate the progress of key projects such as the Xiaonanwan Rural Innovation Complex, the Guxu Lake scenic area environmental improvement, and the protection and repair of the Longshan Shishi earth mound tombs, based on actual conditions. Using project support as a lever, we will optimize the construction of a framework for the development of cultural and tourism points and surfaces, striving to become a new model for the integration of culture and tourism.

Secondly, we will strive for higher-level support to improve our positioning.Focusing on site protection and cultural display, we will continue to strive for funding, awards, projects, and policies from higher authorities. We will focus our efforts on site security, cultural relic display and digital operation, and will push ourselves to innovate and drive the improvement of the museum's public and social value, ensuring that the positioning of major site protection and utilization is comprehensively improved.

Thirdly, we will strengthen publicity to enhance our Brand.Through the efforts of the coming2-3year, we will comprehensively create a Wu culture Brand. We will fully leverage the role of the East China Base of the Archaeological Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, gradually forming a virtuous cycle of cultural display and exchange, and creating the Helü Research and Learning Brand; through the integration of three industries and farmer-to-farmer support, we will attract more urban customers to experience the rural life of Xiaonanwan, creating the Helü Research and Agriculture Brand; through RV campsites and other tourism IPs, we will enrich the artistic and wild experiences of the new era, creating the Helü Research and Tourism Brand.

Fourthly, we will promote win-win alliances to enhance carriers.We will firmly establish a cultural alliance development mechanism, fully utilize the platform resources and advantages of the East China Base of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, deepen teaching and practice cooperation with co-constructed colleges and units, and maintain close contact with cultural relic archaeological units across the country. This will provide exemplary experience in aspects such as regional cultural integration, platform cooperation and innovation, and the transformation of scientific research achievements, striving to form an internally driven cultural relic exchange ecosystem and an externally driven public archaeological culturaldissemination chain.

IV. Next Year's Work Plans

(1) We plan to integrate the gradually enriching business formats around Helü City and further explore new operating models for archaeological site parks.

(2) We plan to implement the second phase plan preparation work for the protection and display of the Longshan stone wall of the Helü City site, and submit the plan to higher authorities.

(3) We plan to jointly apply with the Wuxi Archaeological Institute for special funds for the second phase renovation of the East China Base, further improving the construction of the archaeological laboratory.

(4) We plan to improve the security system of the East China Base and enhance the base's support capabilities.

(5) We plan to organize themed exhibitions of various types, including calligraphy and painting, cultural relics, and intangible cultural heritage.
