
The Wu Zhenqi Poetry, Calligraphy, and Art Exhibition Hall Opens: A Legacy for Generations

On the morning of April 26th, the "Wu Zhenqi Poetry and Calligraphy Art Exhibition Opening Ceremony" was successfully held at the Helv City Ruins Museum, and it is officially open to the public from this day forward. This event was jointly hosted by the Wu Zhenqi Art Special Fund of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Writers Association China Writers Publishing Group, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Painting Academy, the Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Publicity Department, the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, and the Wuxi Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and strongly supported by the China Association of Literary and Art Volunteers. The event was specifically undertaken by the Binhu District Committee of the Publicity Department, the Binhu District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, the Wuxi Taihu National Tourism Resort, and the Wuxi Helv City Ruins Museum. Leaders including Jiang Kun, Chairman of the China Association of Literary and Art Volunteers, Chairman of the China Quyi Artists Association, and Vice-President of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Feng Shuangbai, Vice-President and Secretary-General of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Vice-Chairman of the China Dancers Association; Zong Fei, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism; and Dong Xiao, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, attended the event.
Wu Zhenqi, whose courtesy name is Yonghao and whose studio name is Tongxintang, is a council member of the China Calligraphers Association and a member of the China Writers Association. He is a diligent scholar with a passion for ancient learning and the arts of poetry, calligraphy, rites, and music; he has widely read and is well-versed in literature and calligraphy. He is known for his integrity, outspokenness, generosity, and extensive network of friends. Mr. Wu Zhenqi has visited Wuxi many times for field research, and inspired by the vast Taihu Lake, he created numerous poems and then expressed his feelings through calligraphy, recording his thoughts on Wuxi and Taihu Lake. A series of 17 pieces in 10 sets of calligraphy masterpieces, expressing his affection for Binhu and Taihu Lake, are on display. The content mainly consists of poems created based on the history of the Wu Kingdom and the scenery of the Binhu area. Among them, "Remembering the Helv City Ruins Museum" and "Ode to the Helv Dynasty" were specially created for the Helv City Ruins Museum. Mr. Wu Zhenqi expresses his love for nature through calligraphy and writing, showcasing his special affection for this land of Wuxi. He presents the beauty of history, tradition, and Chinese culture, inspiring us to work together to inherit and promote the glorious culture and long history of our motherland. These works by Mr. Wu will be permanently preserved by the Helv City Ruins Museum for the public to view and exchange ideas, a true cultural blessing. The exhibition of these works is now open, and we welcome colleagues and enthusiasts to visit the museum.
