Original celadon
Primitive celadon - originated and developed during the Shang and Zhou dynasties. With the gradual improvement of pottery tools, the craftsmanship continuously improved, and with a growing understanding of the raw materials for pottery - clay, some early pieces gradually reached the standards of porcelain, but were not yet perfect in certain aspects, existing as a type of object between pottery and porcelain. The body and glaze of early objects were relatively thick, later becoming thinner. The bottoms of many beans have incised lines. Major types include bowls, basins, plates, beans, and jars.
Impressed hard pottery and primitive celadon both come from the aristocratic tombs of the Longshan stone mounds, a type of pottery unique to the Wu region.
