The fifth stop - Diexiu, Longshan Stone Wall Site

The restoration of historical sites is never a quick process. From the archaeological excavation of the Longshan stone chamber and earth mound tombs starting in 2007, to the protection and display project of the Longshan stone wall itself starting in 2019, it all reflects the reverence and respect of contemporary people for historical relics. The scope of the "Hepu City Longshan Stone City Wall Protection and Display Project (Phase 1)" is selected from the No. 1 stone chamber and earth mound in the west to the No. 55 stone chamber and earth mound in the east, totaling 50 sections and approximately 2953 meters in total length. The total length of the paved path is approximately 4.5 kilometers. This project has not only been included in the key assessment projects of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt construction in 2020, but also allows citizens to more intuitively feel, immerse themselves in, and travel through history. In the near future, the restoration project will continue to extend, and the branches and leaves of Wu culture will continue to extend with the restoration of the Longshan stone wall.
